Specializing in the manufacturing of thermoset and thermoplastic panels, Poloplast Painéis arose from the need to innovate in the Brazilian market of fiberglass-reinforced polymeric compounds and special cores for application in construction.
Building System
Using the sandwich structure concept, compound sheet panels are made via a process that combines continuous rolling and low-pressure presses. The panels resulting from that combination of materials and processes will make up the walls and ceiling of the Wall System building system, approved by renowned Brazilian research centers and universities such as the IPT (Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas), Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.
Such institutions have proven its fire safety, structural performance, rainwater tightness, durability, thermal and acoustic insulation, and post-occupational evaluation. Besides, the building system panels have been approved by Caixa Econômica Federal to be used nationwide in the My House, My Life Program and other programs carried out by the Federal, State and City governments.
